Vedic New Moon July and August Forecast- Lead with the Heart Not the Sword

The New Moon on July 23 in the Nakshatra of Pushya is opening the doors to the eclipse season with the partial Lunar and a Full Solar eclipses occurring in August.

To start off this next thirty days cycle is quite a powerful new moon due to its close conjunction to a debilitated and combust Mars as well as the influence of the Nakshatra Pushya. Pushya normally is a passive and nourishing star however in this quadrant it shadow side is activated and it has a tendency to make us arrogant and stubborn. Mars and the Sun are not the best traveling companions. They bring about hot tempers and agitation in everyone making this not a very peaceful new moon.

The best way to put this energy to use in the days surrounding the New Moon to support someone in need and to reach out with your heart. Offering kindness and service will change your luck and bring positive results the over the course of this new moon cycle.

On August 7 the Full moon will be in Capricorn, in the Nakshatra of Sravana and is opposite Mars in Cancer. These two are in a dialog so to speak. Lunar eclipses in relationship to Mars feature extreme times of volatility and conflict. Internal and externally. The star influencing the moon is Sravana.  Motivating us to  seek answers and to change by asking intelligent questions of ourselves and desire for seeking true wisdom.

On the 13th Mercury goes retrograde where it will join Mars and Rahu in Leo and will align with the Lunar eclipse point. Normally Mercury retrograde is not considered remarkable in Vedic astrology as Mercury is often retrograde. What make this remarkable is the affect and influence Mercury gets from its traveling companions. When Mercury aligns with malefic’s it becomes malefic.

The cliché is true with this, do not react and do not make major decisions this month wait until after September 5th.

Tempers will flare and people will be easily set off and be ready to fight, in fact with this they are looking to fight to release the tension.

On the 18th Rahu and Ketu are changing signs and will remain there for the next 18 months.

The South Node Ketu will move into Capricorn in the Nakshatra of Dhanishta and the North Node Rahu will move into Cancer in the Nakshatra of Ashlesha and will be conjunct Mars until the 27th. I will write more about this in a separate post later in the month including affects by ascendant and moon sign.

Now for the big news everyone is talking about the Full Solar eclipse that will be taking place across the United States on the 21st of August.

This solar eclipse will occur in the Nashatra of Maga Nakshatra in the sign of Leo, This is a fiery active star and with is placement and alignment  in the sky its shadow side is activated. We can see a rise in racial superiority, arrogance and over identification with materialism and superiority. Additionally the eclipse will take place smack in the middle in the of the Mercury retrograde making  this even more challenging time. The planet of judgment and discernment is changing direction and a clear path cannot be perceived when Mercury disappears from view

Not an auspicious time for important decisions.

On the 25th Saturn goes direct and beginning the slow movement forward twoard Sagittarius where it will be by the end of October where it will stay for the next 2.5 years. I will write more about this in a separate post later in the month including affects by ascendant and moon sign.

Summary:

This is not a month for major decisions and it really is not a month to fight. Eclipses dramatise everything and there is tendency to overreact and they activate fear.

The collective temperature is hot and reactive all this month. The fiery elements in the sky are making this month volatile and charged mixed with strife and confusion. Conflicts can escalate due to impaired judgement and poor communication. This is not a progressive time, so decisions made urgently and hastily will trend to be flawed. It is best to finish urgent important business matters and make decisions before Mercury retrograde.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the US and with the US President elect. This eclipse falls close to, the US’s natal Moon at 7° Aquarius and within a degree of Donald Trump’s Mars directly on his ascendant.

Do your best to stay clam and take care of business, listen to lots of great music this month and watch the drama unfold , just try not lead with a fist. Keep your heart open, keep your meditation strong and consistent.

If we imagine the Vedic fire pit or Puja we can visualize ourselves offering our heart and the purification of our intentions with the transformational quality of fire that Mars and the Sun are bringing forth this month. Burn the seeds of Karma and don’t allow them to grow and take hold in your mind.

Tips for the Eclipses

Yogi Bhajan gave two remedies for eclipse times.  For the Solar he said we should get into water, so for those in the US  if you can get into water, either bath or shower, any water, during the eclipse it would help to stave off the negative effects. Yogi Bhajan  said then the negative impacts will not touch you you are protected in the water.

For the Lunar he said to close your curtains and do not let the light in your home or on you.

I wish you love and luck this month

Vedic Astrology Full Moon July 2017

Full Moon July 8th Vedic Astrology

Full Moon forecast for the 8th of July in the Nakshatra of Purva Ashada a star known as the invincible and the undefeated.

The Full Moon this month is a very potent one brining about a deep reflection of who we are, what we stand for and what we are evolving into. Activating within us a letting go of what no longer works bringing forth our true nature and the acceptance of who we’ve become.  But not without a fight!

This Full Moon’s objective is propelled by the mutual aspect from Mars, and with the Sun in Gemini together fueling a desire for movement and change in our lives. Mars and the Sun are on the lookout for a good fight giving us a tendency to act out due to being overly emotional - it is pure agitation at its very best and the window view to the start of the summer.

Your best bet is to utilize this influence to propel yourself forward rather than argue or fight, redirect and harness it's energy instead

Keep in mind that Saturn is in the last degrees of Scorpio. This positional degree of Saturn is it’s most powerful and potent points in the tail of the Scorpion. It’s job is to untie karmic knots by making us revisit what we left unfinished thus making us work deeper and more honestly on our rooted issues in our subconscious and what we conceal from others and even from ourselves.

The intensity of this influence and how it plays out depends on how much fear we have in letting go of a past and that which no longer fits. Whatever it is for you personally acknowledge it, feel it and let it go - just move on, move forward.  Find happiness by following your heart

This Nakshatra Purva Ashada that rules this Moon is ruled by Apas (cosmic water spreading in all directions). The temperament of this star is angry, sharp and restless. Water takes on the quality of whatever contains it. If it is heated it becomes steam, if it is frozen it becomes ice. Water has the power and strength to destroy stone, but it can also be soothing, nourishing and cleansing.  Water transforms. Contain yourself and make sure your not boiling over.

During the next 5-7 days really take care, our minds and emotions are on alert and we tend to overreact and take position and draw a firm line in the sand.

Summary

As in the Ocean stretches and reaches new shores, so can our soul to become who we are meant to be.  The layers of the ego that are keeping us from our true self are slowly being peeled away.   As we grow and evolve our beliefs change, relationships change and jobs change. By taking the leap of faith and belief in ourselves we are rewarded by regaining our lustre and invigorating power to move forward and closer to our destiny.  Have courage and faith in you and see all that you can be.

I send you allot of love and luck

Meditation for the Full Moon -Clearing the Arcline and Karmas

Sit in Easy Pose with a straight spine. Relax the elbows down by the sides, and bring the forearms straight out in front of your body, palms flat and facing up. Have the palms slightly cupped, and place them a few inches above the knees.

Movement: Bring the arms up, back behind head, stretching the hands and arms as far back over the shoulders as you can. Imagine you are scooping water, and throwing it through your arcline, over your shoulders, with a flick of the wrists. The movement is smooth and graceful flows along with the rhythm of the mantra.

On each "Wa-hay Guroo," as well as on the "Wa-hay Jeeo," do one complete round—scooping up, throwing over your shoulders, and come back to the starting position.

Eyes: Closed.

Time: 31 minutes.

To End: Inhale and stretch your hands back as far as possible, hands right behind your head, Posture for the Inhale must be correct. Hold for 10 -15 seconds. Exhale. Repeat 3 times total. Relax.

Comments/Effects: This meditation is for the arcline and to clear the karma that has been stocked up in it. You'll experience what Wahe Guru actually means. It's just a hand of prayer. Remember, the power of Infinity is not outside of you, it is inside of you. When "I" and Infinity create impact, you'll become totally divine. Otherwise there's a duality which keeps you away from reality, and the pain is humongous.

June New Moon the tears of Shiva Vedic astrology

This New Moon cycle we have a conjunction in the sky of four planets -Sun, Moon, Mars and Mercury all in the Nakshatra of Ardra,  the star of destruction and frustration.  Saturn is retrograde in Scorpio, and Jupiter in Virgo these are the planets who are the stars of this month's show.

Our  New Moon in Gemini on June 23  or 24 depending where you live is not a gentle new moon to say the least, it is clearing the way for change. The driver of this new moon conjunction is the  Nakshatra  of Ardra a fierce and stormy star under the rulership of the Rudra's or better known as Shiva’s star. Here we are given the chance to transform, destroy illusion and recreate our truth when we have the courage to do it. The mixture of the Sun and Mercury gives us the strength to overcome, adapt and achieve. It is important to keep this in mind as the total planetary influences kicking off the summer are heating up largely due to fiery Mars.

Mars will be combust for the next few months while it travels with the sun. This will make us feel frustration and irritable.  We can become intolerant and we will see globally and culturally things are heating up.

We have been sent back to the school hard knocks to complete difficult lessons left unfinished  with the return of  Saturn in Scorpio earlier this month currently retrograde in the Nakshatra of Jyeshtha.  This influence from the heavens brings up fears and worries -real and imagined. Emotional blocks and deep emotional wounds and scars from the past. We will experience uncertainty, lack of confidence and questioning everything -relationships, beliefs, paths and our overall alignment.  Saturn will be here until October . The beauty to be seen here is this is making us return to our core to ultimately destroy our illusions in order to make us who we came here to be.

Jupiter moved forward this month in Virgo in the Nakshatra Hasta. Jupiters influence this month  us go straight to the heart of the matter while expanding our minds with  new understanding of ourselves, our circumstances and new possibilities. On the 29th Venus in Taurus in its own sign is a saving grace this month. It brings us softness and comfort fiery month.

On July 9th the Full Moon in Sagittarius in the Nakshatra of Purvashada brings us a deep philosophical reflection and putting our teachings and learning’s into practice. More on this in the Full Moon Report later in the month.

One July 17th The Sun joins Mars and Mercury in Cancer in the Nakshatra of Punarvasu  where we feel our security threatened making us feel insecure. Punarvasu can magnify our negative qualities it and we can see this as well reflected what is  happening in the world.

July 23rd new Moon in Cancer  in the Nakshatra of Pushya and is conjunct with Sun and Mars in Pushya

July 25th Mercury, Rahu, Moon in Leo in Nakshatra of Magha our Thinking and communication can become toxic as we feel under pressure and over identified with class status and feel the need to prove worth to others . This is all due to the illusion of Rahu and the intensity of the planets in the sky

Summary

This month our speech can become very direct and straightforward and more aggressive. We want action and a reaction, we want to fight to release the tension that is building inside us and around us. We can have the tendency to become too attached to our opinions this month thus creating a polarising personality that is not truly us or serving our highest good. Best practice is to exercise self control activate your intelligent awareness.  Choose your words and actions carefully this month try and your best to remain in your heart and trust.

The task this month is to keep yourself open, and in your heart as gift to feel process our pain and frustration authentically and then let go. This true not just for this month but through the end of the year. The next 6 months of the year is time to move on,  grow into who we came here to be. Relax your mind invite new experiences use this energy to be creative, intelligent and to push forward even if you are unsure make a decision, make a choice move this creates change.

Wild storms can clear the way for new and ultimately refresh our spirit, tears may fall as we release and let go, tears can be our remedy now. Remember the story of the original Rudra the deity ruling this new moon became the auspicious Shiva by meditating on God.  As Shivas  tears became the rudraksha seeds is serves as a good reminder to practice our japa, remember  God and become better by following our true path even if we have to stand alone. With devotion and hard work we too can transform and be auspicious.

I send you allot of love and luck

Power and action New Moon Vedic Astrology

chakra.jpg

For one moment close your eyes and remember your very first breath on this earth, and with that breath remember what was your souls agreement as you incarnated. What was the promise to be kept.  What is it that you really need to accomplish and what do you need to clear in order to pay the debt. The answer is not hiding in fact, it is in front of you. This is your dharma, your path, your target and it takes daily work.

This month we have a push from the universe to get it done. We have so much planetary support and a big dose of directed planetary energy -that is igniting a fire under us and within us to achieve it. The only caveat is we must be clear and act on it.

On April 26th  the new Moon is  in Aries in the Nakshatra of Aswini where it joins an exalted Sun. This combination infuses us with stamina and raw power. We are more aggressive and expansive as we push forward into the next cycle where we direct our energy now is critical. Directly after on the 28th we have what is known as  Akshaya Tritiya this is when we have an exalted Moon and an exalted Sun at the same time in the sky. The 26-28th are  incredible for launching a new project especially when it is combined with your dharma (your purpose) it  brings lasting prosperity. Make sure to take action in these days, even if this means you are writing your Mission statement, Manifesto,  Business plan, securing a web domain, any step you make toward your goal in theses days will support your success.

On the 3rd Mercury goes direct. While Mercury is hanging out with Sun in Aries until the 15th. our communication more aggressive, rude , rash and curt.  Take care and to be certain to whom you are speaking too. The fire of our intellect is activated and we are focused but we should not speak with too much bravado. Redirect this into more productive tasks and try not to argue with your partner or boss, or strangers. Zip it closed when easily tempted, tempers are high

The Full moon on the 10th in the Nakshatra of Vishaka this combination makes us one pointed, decisive, and dedicated to the goal. The moon will be opposite the exalted Sun The shadow side of this influence is we can be too forceful in pushing our own agenda or trying to fulfil too many ambitions.  Make sure you  are not bulldozing others simply because you want your way. Be considerate.

On the 15th the Sun moves in with Mars in Taurus. These two hot planets add fire to our already aggressive  propensity. However the magic is to be found when we are contemplative. The Sun is the king and represents our soul, Mars is the soldier, the servant. This is a beautiful combination when used to our advantage and directing its energy that is working through us. When we are clear about want Mars supports us with the drive and Sun the dedication to pursue our interests with full intent.

The 17th- 19th  Venus in Pisces is aspecting Jupiter. These few days we can experience our romantic and spiritual themes are challenged. Use this aspect to reconnect with the beauty of all things and the love in your heart rather than the perceived external disappointment.

Saturn is retrograde until August. Saturn represents hard work and restriction. Saturn is our representing our Karma's and the Karma's needing attention and correction is is bent on you clearing that  debt. The beginning stages of Saturn's in the  first 3 degrees are pretty good in both directions. I personally love Saturn especially when he kicks my ass. Saturn job is to learn your karma's of self undoing. It is not wanting you to follow your monkey mind which is inconsistent and distracting , it wants you to pay attention to the lesson and do the work in order to move forward. It’s the old slow teacher that won’t give you that hallway pass and who caught you and gave you detention in school.

Retrograde Saturn we will be revisiting our contracts agreements communications. Offers can come up now to where you will need to make a fast decision.

The New Moon in May is Taurus in the Nakshatra of Rohini we may experience jealousy and envy. This will be an intense new moon as it will be joining Mars and just a few days later Pisces will be leaving dreamy Pisces for the fiery arms of Aires setting up June to be difficult with our relations and partnerships. I will go into this in more detail next month.

Summary

This is an action and forward moving month.  The new moon and full moon this month are quite amazing and with the added Sun,Moon,  Mars and Saturn influences it is a pretty auspicious month for personal achievement. From the 26th to the 30th we are given a lot of support and gifts from the heavens to realise our dreams and that which we hold deep in our heart. Hold it in your entire being with an unwavering conviction this entire month  pull your boot straps up and get it done. Watch your communication be alert and not emotional.  You are the pilot of your own destiny  and your dharma, path, target takes daily work no matter who you are.

I send you allot of love and luck

Mantra For the Month -Clearing the Karma and Debt

Hummee Hum Brahm Hum

It means “We are we, we are God.”

It refers to us as the spirit of God. It is a mantra of profound meaning, not only in translation.  The sound “Hummm” is a bij mantra, or seed mantra, that vibrates within the heart chakra.

Taught Yogi Bhajan on April 19, 2001 in Los Angeles.
He said "The most difficult thing to believe is, "Humee Hum Brahm Hum," "We are we and we are God." The One who rotates this Earth can take care of your routine. Once you believe that you are God, Mother Nature will start working for you ... You have to learn to be. Just sit down, close your eyes, calm down and be. Be yourself! Not anybody else. Just a creative human being. Practice this meditation to be a creative human being."

Close your eyes and chant for 11-22 minutes

When the Planets are Meditating true changes occur- Vedic Forecast for April 2017

16003309_10211982503348162_575111513205465835_n.jpg

This month we have 4 planets retrograde  Saturn, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter.

When planets stop moving it is like being at a cross road and we have to make a choice. Our energies are turned inward and contemplative. We are pushed to re-examine what is occurring  in our relationships, examine our station in life and what brings us real joy and fulfilment.

Saturn has been stationary in Sagittarius and will go retrograde on the April 5th until  August  2017. Saturn is currently in a a part of the sky where the highest amount of electromagnetic waves are registered. When Saturn is stationary it has an incredible magnetised force that leaves a much more powerful imprint on us. We feel frustration, stress, increased tension combined with lower energy.

As Saturn begins its retrograde motion on the 5th and starts a very slow journey back into Scorpio we begin to revisit the same heavy lessons we encountered in 2016. We are being returned to school of hard knocks to learn that which we did not complete last year and finally wrap them up. What ever was unfinished In Saturn's retrograde motion you will address. The areas affected in your life depend on Saturn's placement in your personal chart. What is guaranteed is when you face them head and do the work you will succeed.

Venus has been retrograde since early March. Putting our relationships under the microscope. We have extra  pressure from authority figures in our life and we put more pressure on ourselves. In Venus retrograde we restructure our work and reevaluate our direction.

On April 8th the Moon joins Rahu in Leo. Rahu is all about illusion and brut force,  the influence it has on the moon gives us the experience of separation from the heart. Our ego and demands are inflated, we become difficult and demanding. This mix really does not give or promote a healthy sense of self .

Mercury will go retrograde on the 10th until May in Aries. This is a difficult placement for Mercury. Mercury is gentle and Aires is pure force. It is  activating the mercurial energy into being more forceful and opinionated we become impatient, quick to judge, impulsive, brash and lacking the normal evaluation grace and curiosity that Mercury brings.

The combination of theses planetary influences makes us tough on others and frankly we can be downright rude. Watch out and don’t get into fights that can have a longer term impact.

The full moon on the 10th joins retrograde Jupiter in Virgo. Practicality and mysticism are the theme when these two are joined together in the house owned by Mercury. The Full Moon in the Nakshatra of Chitra the star known as the Architect of the universe is opposite dreamy Pisces who is cradling exalted Venus we feel inspired yet grounded and connected with purpose.

What gives us some satisfaction in the first two weeks is the placement of the Sun in Pisces with exalted Venus stimulates, this blend of planets in Pisces stimulates a higher devotion and an increase in creativity.

The Sun moves into Aries where it is exalted on the 14th. The Sun illuminates everything it is the king of the sky its placement here we act with self assuredness and with power.

On April 15th Venus goes direct we reinvest, engage and move forward with better judgement after deep reflection and evaluation. This is supported by the Sun’s energy in Aires

The moon energies will be of discontentment and irritation  from the 17th- 22nd.  During these few days silence is the best remedy- it will do you good.

It  will join Saturn in Sagittarius on the 17th  and make its way to join Ketu in Aquarius on the 21st. The best use of this time to focus non material matters and rather of the beyond, your inner world where this energy can not touch you and you get glimpses and insights that are rare.

This time is the yogi’s dream where we release unnecessary junk and baggage that is holding us back

The energy ease when the Moon moves on and joines exalted Venus and aspected by Jupiter and we feel a genuine connection with what uplifts and inspires us.

On the 26th we have the new Moon in Aries in the Nakshatra of Aswini whose symbol is two horses demonstrating unchained power as it joins the exalted Sun. This combination makes us aggressive and expansive as we push forward into the next cycle, it is very good time for accomplishing tasks for launching a project

On the 28th is Akshaya Tritiya  when we have and exalted moon and exalted Sun very lucky day for launching a new project it is seen to bring prosperity. Do not miss this day to start something new.

Summary

The few weeks of the month are tough. Our life and perception can completely change direction now. Saturn is a no nonsense planet and task master of the sky. We are having to make external adjustments as well as internal. The retrograde planets drive us inward and gather power and experience to prepare us for the next step. We may feel fed up and stuck at the same time with all the personal and work demands that requires significant effort now.

The changes  we are being pushed to make are actually putting us on our true path. The last few days of the are highlighted with a a remarkably driven new moon on the 26th that is supported by an exalted Sun leading us to a very auspicious day on the 28th. It is Spring and we have Sprung.

I wish you lots of luck and send you lots of love

FULL MOON December 13th Vedic Forecast Karma is My Best Friend

The New moon earlier this month in the sign of Scorpio triggered the last transformation cycle that started way back in 2014. Saturn has been transiting Scorpio since November 2014 and each of us has been forced to work on our subconscious since then. As we have been dealing with this for over 2 years there should be no surprises for those who have done the work.

It is really powerful time with  two Saturnian moons this month; these moons are markers for something permanent. Keep in Mind the Full Moon and New Moons are not just a day- they are cycles.

The full moon upon us is in Taurus and is a very bright, but serious. It’s very practical, rooted and is generally happier here it where it helps to stabilize and quiet the mind. The Nakshatra Migrashira is a very gentle Nakshatra of seeking and curiosity but brings with it a certain level of dissatisfaction, which is leads us to change and to seek fulfilment and greater happiness.

The moon will oppose Saturn and we also have a Sun Saturn conjunction in the sky heightening our pressure and overall fatigue.

Saturn is communicating with Mars aspecting Venus and is joined with the Sun. This combination highlights what we need to destroy, what is making us weak and pushing us to make a choice. The light from the Moon will be very practical; we will evaluate our circumstances closely, and choose to move forward. We may be forced to demonstrate and proclaim that we are capable prematurely or where we may not be prepared do so.  Similar to the tough swimming lesson you got from your father.

Adding to it Mars is joining Ketu in Aquarius where it is not the happiest. Mars has a very individualistic agenda, it forces our will and to have things our way. Aquarius is about cooperation and working for society. Ketu is what we have already learned and have conquered. In this conjunction we are made to cooperate and get challenged to defend or prove again where we have already succeeded. Mars will give it extra motivation to succeed. This combination can break things such as relationships, bring endings ifresolutions  occur but it will not be easy or lasting.

On the 16th the Sun will move into Sagittarius where we will feel relief and overall upliftment as the sun feels happy here. We will focus on our higher the mind, and more pleasant activities and thoughts

Mercury will go retrograde on the 19th until January 8th. Its not allot to worry about,  itdoes makes us visit one last time in an area we need to pay attention to before we close out the year.

The intensity is not over yet, but we are not victims in it we are perfectly protected and loved. Use your tools and make yourself sharp and bright with hearts open and loving. Check out the Mantra for this cycle.

I wish you allot of luck and send you lots of love

Vedic New Moon Forecast - True Grit

The New Moon in Scorpio on November 29th is in the Nakshatra of Anuradha

When we have the Sun, Moon and Saturn all hanging out in one house it’s not a party,  I am sorry to say.  Scorpio is setting the tone this month and it’s all about depth, transformation, fear, intensity and grit; it is also about commitment and loyalty.

This New Moon Cycle will activate an unavoidable dialog between the state of our soul, our consciousness and our true feelings by making us face what challenges us, overwhelms us, and frightens us by bringing all it uncomfortably close. It will make us rely on what truly uplifts us and serves our ultimate destiny. It testing us to see if we are authentically putting into practice the tools we have learned which  support and carry us on our journey.

The Nakshatra Anuradha who accompanies the New Moon brings with it divine love, unity and support.   It is  known as the star of success,  perseverance and friendship it grants us the ability to communicate effectively and interact with one another with kindness in the midst of the tensions all around us.

Luckily Jupiter is favourably aspecting Mars lending a good dose of courage and support need with the work we need to do now.

We are still in the kala sarpa yoga and this new moon between the Rahu and Ketu the north and south nodes increasing the intensity and handing out our karmic lessons needed to move forward.  Everything feels heightened in and intense, keep in mind the nodes always magnify .

The best advice I can share is to get out and  serve and help people, lend a hand by doing some  community service however possible, create a connection with others it is very important now for us all.

We are in the midst of clearing out before we begin the new year , it does get better in 2017.

I send you lots of love and lots  of luck

NEW MOON FORECAST NOVEMBER COMING OUT OF THE DARKNESS

6a00e54fcf73858834019affbbadbc970b-800wi.jpg

This months moon cycle starts off with the New moon in Libra in the Nakshatra of Swati and with the celebration of the Dwali (The Festival of Lights) on October 30th

Swati is the Nakshatra that drives us to become an individual. It’s deity is Vayu who rules the wind (prana) making us stronger and a bit of a maverick.

The days leading up to the new moon you may have experienced frustration, confusion, fear and overall malaise, this is due to the Sun’s debilitation in Libra and the moon approaching its darkest moment, the two luminaries of the sky are not at their brightest or highest potential to lend us their strength.

Adding to this mix we can feel in conflict with our worldly desires and what we need to really be paying attention to.  Unnecessary fears arise that are imagined or distorted and resentments and anger can be easily ignited. This is due to the exact conjunction creating war between Venus and Saturn in in Scorpio.

The positive side during this dark time is that we are reminded and encouraged to ignite our own inner light and life force, not just for celebration but in every day. The light returns to us through our devotional practice and with pranayam exercises moving the force of life and light though our entire being.

Throughout this month it is critical how we manage or energy including how we spend it and not allow our monkey mind to run us. We will have to work harder to focus and push through the fog and distraction in order to succeed.

Thankfully we have the support of Mars who will move into Capricorn in the next few days  positively effecting us with increased energy and stamina to push us to be more productive in a practical and tangible way. The Nakshatra’s in this mix will add a lot of intensity to ensure our success.

Summary

The theme of the month is to get back to basics our practice keep working our health with a real honesty and vigour. Not talk about it,  just doing the work.

We are still in the time of Kala Sarpa Yoga, karmas are being completed and we are finishing an important cycle.  We have a lot of support but we must activate it by initiating and dedicating ourselves to consistent practice and not be lead astray by our mind.  Instead redirecting with complete devotion to our own soul and to a deep and all encompassing love for who we are. The good and perceived bad, all of it.

Vata (Wind) energy is active this month due to seasonal change and the New Moon’s Nakshatra   it leads to drying out and spacing out. Contributing further to it we are spending more time indoors which leads to increased time spent on our computers  which is vata activating and with the heat turned  on it creates and fosters imbalances. To support our vitality and functionality nature comes to the rescue and provides us with foods that counter and help balance these energies.  Eat and drink warming, grounding  sweet and moistening foods. Eat good oils and use body oils almond, sesame in combination with etheric oils, such are pure sandalwood,  frankincense which are great healers and protectors. Chywanaprash and amala are good to consume now.

It will get better and in the Full Moon report later this month we will have more positive influences

The Mantra for the Month is Ang Sung Wahe Guru

This mantra expresses a universal truth. Repeating it creates a thought, which gradually guides the psyche to adjust itself. It re-connects every fragmented projection of the psyche, each separated part of the body, and synchronises the finite sense of self to the Infinite Oneness. This act of rejoining the separated parts is the quintessential act of healing. Under attack, under war, under the pressures of fear, this mantra keeps us together, conscious, and ready to act. It brings the inner peacefulness that comes only from the touch and scope of spirit.

Try it for 40 days 3-11 minutes a day and see what happens!

Yogi Bhajan said ‘’if you have put God outside of you, there’s nothing in you, and that’s why you’re suffering.”  “You need a reality that Ang Sang Wahe Guru, with every limb, with thirty trillion cells of you which change themselves every seventy-two hours, God is in you.”

I wish you allot of Luck and send you lots of Love

Abundance and Guidance Full Moon October 15th Vedic astrology

Abundance and Guidance are the theme for this months full moon.

The Full Moon on October 15th (PDT 9.23 pm) is in the last degrees of sidereal Pisces in the Nakshatra of Revati.

In the days leading up to the full moon we are feeling uplifted, energised and in the universal flow.  We are empowered and have a sense of divine alignment connecting us with all that is in our hearts and with our purpose.  We begin to cut out our attachments and shed what no longer serves us or supports our expansion. We are walking our truth with clarity, strength and the bounce of light.

The lunar cycle started this month with us getting our lives in order with the Sun and Moon in Virgo assisted by the Nakshatra Hasta.  It brought the focus back to rebuilding our personal lives in order to create more stability with all of the chaos happening around us in the world.  It put the spotlight on aligning our lives with our values and what we hold dear in our hearts.

This full moon is in contrast to what is going on in the external world. Our hearts are relaxing and letting go of what is in the way of our souls journey and the tension we have held in our hearts and minds for months.  This full moon is filling us with trust that everything is going to be ok. We feel embraced, nourished and a soothing emotional support from the universe now. This Moon is so gentle and loving but filled with immense power.

The Nakshatra Revati is really the magic behind this moon doing most of the work. Revati’s root meaning is ‘She who increases prosperity, wealth and great fortune’  The her deity Pushan’s is ‘the one who guides, nourishes and brings forth wealth’.  This full moon is connected to Lakshmi the goddess of abundance and prosperity.  Considering its placement in Pisces it's wealth is coming in through spiritual wisdom and of knowing. It will feel like a rain of nectar from the heavens.

The combination is so marvellous, its as if you have Gods direct telephone number ready to take your order and the saints and are playing your favourite songs.

Tips

Ad Such Mantra - Aad such, jugaad such, Hai bhee such, Naanak hosee bhee such Yogi Bhajan recommend this for healing, centering and connecting  one with the infinite.  You can do it for 3 , 5, 11, 22, minutes a day.  Try it for 40 days!

The most potent time of the full moon for prayers being answered is the time before and the first 40 minutes of the full moon.  Make your intentions known. Meditate.

“Go inside and listen to your inner voice. Every question has an answer. Your soul is full of wisdom and knows the way" Yogi Bhajan

I send you lots of luck , love and hugs.

NEW MOON VEDIC FORECAST FOR OCTOBER

We are getting a significant amount of help from the Heavens this month. The new Moon will awaken our inner guidance and ignite the process of regeneration and rebuilding. We will be realigned with our purpose and be given a good dose of self-confidence  and clarity. We will feel a direct connection and support from our guides as if they are standing by our side.

The  planets are providing a strong foundation and the backbone to rebuild now as we are in the  completion of a major karmic cycle.

It’s a relief and friendlier influence  this month after the Saturn Mars conjunction we had for such a long time.

The New Moon September 30th in Virgo is in the Nakshatra of Hasta (Grasping Hand). Hasta creates vision  to achieve our ambitions and bestows us with the necessary skills to achieve them. Hasta’s deity is Savita (the dawn) and  Siddha's  (magicians) are attributed with this star. The key here is using Mantra. It is described in the ancient texts that mantra is necessary to activate this stars power.

New Moons are portals to our inner world reflecting our subconscious mind so it is critical that we use tools such as mantra and meditation to clear out and free up space for our intuition and to connect with the Divine.  Make the desire of what you want known at this time. Prayers are answered.

This combination is extraordinary for endeavors and the capacity for us to realize them.

From the 4th Mercury, Jupiter, Sun are conjunction in Virgo. The first half of the month we are focused on getting things in order in a very positive and practical way.  The world is still in a heightened state of intensity, however we are getting down to business in pulling up the boot straps in our own individual lives to bring in more stability.  Mercury is the driver in this conjunction and it’s combust, fortunately we have the grace of the Nakshatras giving some finesse.

Venus is in Libra for the first thirteen days in the Nakshatra of Visakha.  Again here our focus will be on long-term goals. In our relationships it can represent talks of marriage/ business partnerships agreements. Very practical flavour this mix has. In an unhealthy influence it can make us obsessive.

The 14th Venus moves in with Saturn in Scorpio under the Nakshatra’s of Anuradha and Jyeshtha These planets are friendly to each other but Saturn is a slow planet and full of restrictions. It will promote stability in our personal and business relationships and make us work where they need attention.  It is not a passionate placement it’s more dependable and Saturn’s influence will keep it conservative.

The Sun moves into Libra on the 17th. We will feel the influence of the Nakshatra's with an increase in strength to stand on our own and out of the norm if needed.

From the 21st Sun and Mercury conjunction in Libra until November this is known as a Bhuda Adity Yoga.  As mentioned earlier (combustion) the Sun always brightens and burns the quality of another planet it comes in contact with. However Mercury is driving this conjunction the influence is quick and supports organization, its good for business and budgeting. The Nakshatra's support will be seen in our inventiveness and individuality and finding interesting solutions.

Mars is in Sagittarius until November  which is a much better placement searching for higher ideals and higher purpose. It’s a far better way to use Mars’s energy.  The Nakshatra’s on influence helps us to uproot and remove superficial and illusory distractions it is giving us empowerment putting us in the leadership of our own lives.   Again a practical.

Jupiter’s  placement is not supported it does however put the focus on practical issues and support healing themes the Nakshatra is helping a lot by giving us the skills we need to get it done and to take care of ourselves

Summary We are in a time of Kala Sarpa Yoga where all the planets are in the Jaws of the nodes (Rahu and Ketu) in between the axis of Leo and Aquarius

In between Ketu and Rahu is where karmas are being completed and we are finishing a cycle. Ketu in Aquarius is representing society and Rahu in Leo represents the king(dom). This is playing out on the world stage highlighting our collective duty as a society and our inner conflict with what we want from ourselves, the world and how we can best bring this about.

Saturn in Scorpio is aspecting Rahu, the effects of the aspect will show up internally where we may have unusual health issues arise or we may feel melancholy.   The good news is that at the same time it is igniting an interest in alternative health and healing therapies.

The aspect of Saturn Rahu highlighting politics and world issues. The world at large will have an intense first two weeks of October.  On a personal level we being supported by the New Moon and the planets no nonsense let get sown to business frequency.

Mantra is really key this month, using it will free up space in our minds making our intuition work better for us. It's the technology handed to us from the Rishi’s and it works.

Lastly pay attention during the first 10 days of the month to your younger siblings, your father or teacher it can be a difficult time for them.

Remember there never is a perfect moment but you are always perfect.

I send you lots of love and lots of hugs

Single Path to Transcendence

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on September the 16th

On Friday, September 16th we will have a Full Moon Lunar eclipse in end of Aquarius and the very beginning of Pisces in the Nakshatra Purva Bhadrapada a serious star focused on meaningful transformation.  Its symbol is a hearse more specifically the front half of it.  Its deity is a fire dragon (Naga) named Ajaikapat. Often described as a one footed goat, which really is a poetic term for lightning. Since lightning goes where it wants like a goat.

Bhadrapada’s root meaning is blessed steps and the symbolism of the hearse is really higher awareness and transformation.

Our renewal and rebirth are the theme, its an auspicious time but not with out sacrifice and letting go of what no longer works. When we do will get to access other-worldliness and the ability to walk between human and ethereal realms.

Shadow energies will be coming out of nowhere as karmic cycles are at work and we are learning how to change and evolve.

What is certain is that finishing or completing things that need to come to an end and cutting ties is on our menu now.

In the Vedic tradition it is not beneficial to look at the eclipse. So I suggest that you close the curtains, turn off the show and go within. All the light you need is there waiting for you.

Summary

We are halfway through the lunar cycle and facing an eclipse. Eclipse energies last several weeks and sometime months This eclipse is happening in the last degree of Aquarius So if your Ascendant or Moon or Sun in close to 23 + degrees or if you are born in March you will feel it the most.

“Go inside and listen to your inner voice. Every question has an answer. Your soul is full of wisdom and knows the way" Yogi Bhajan

I send you lots of love and lots of luck

September 2016

September  Major Transits using the Vedic system

The Cosmic Play- with no intermission

The unsettling summer of 2016 is about to take an intense new twist. With the fall season starting the at the end of this month we can learn allot from natures rhythm. As it begins to change its colours and its direction, it starts to drop its leaves and lets go. It begins it's retreat back and redirect its energy within, deep into the ground to become rock solid to prepare for the next rebirth. This is a big clue as it is a time for us as well to go within and make our state of being truly solid.

NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE in the Nakshatra of Purva Phallguni (the reddish lady) on September 1st

It all an inside job. This eclipse represents our mind and soul. Our thinking can go outside the boundary of reality and it can misdirect us on a wrong path. It will stir up feelings of lack of emotional nourishment and it will exaggerate unnecessary fears and bring things to the surface from our past.

Saturn is directly aspecting this eclipse adding even more darkness to the effect of the eclipse. Keep in mind this all an illusion from the smoke that Rahu likes to cast in our direction.

During this time (and the few days surrounding it) observe yourself as a spectator in this play of your own life.  Don't be manipulated by your own fear. Keep it simple and stay grounded by meditating on what is your hearts desire and what you deeply want not by what misleads us.

On a practical and material sense it’s not a good time to start or to end anything for that matter. Anything significant in the material world that is started in the few days before and after this conjunction could turn out very strange or if it is an ending you may regret it as well.

Venus Mercury Jupiter conjunction in Virgo until the 9th Meaningful solutions. This is what is known as Saraswati Yoga in this trio Mercury is still retrograde but offers us allot of creative solutions, joy, inspiration, and sensitivity. Venus and Jupiter are both teacher planets what this conjunction gives is a great time for writing and exploring a higher purpose.

Lunar Eclipse on the 16/17th in the Nakshatra of Purva Bhadrapada  (The Hearse )  We will be tested and transformed. It can also create allot of restlessness. I will talk more about this in the mid month update.

On the 17th the Sun moves into Virgo Clever Action. Sense of duty gets activated and getting things done, focusing on the greater good. It will also rejuvenate interest in our health and we will take care of what we have overlooked or ignored.

On the 18th Mars moves away from Saturn Active Fortune and leadership.  Mars moves out on its own until October. It activates straightforward thinking with a good dose of humour and the return of hope.  Mars turns its sights on battles of a higher nature: culture and faith, and the protection of others. It will activate our external energy and pursuits after having so much inner dialog this month.

On the 19th Venus moves in to Libra Loveliness. Venus will be here until mid October. Bringing well-needed softness in our relationships and an easygoing attitude.  A sense of peace and balance will wash over and you will feel like connecting again with people.  Watch out for over indulgence with this influence.

Mars and Saturn in Scorpio -until the 17th temper, temper dear… These two are joined for most of the month living together in the icy space of Scorpio.  Saturn and Mars here can expose the darker side we hide due to our vulnerabilities. It makes us face what we have not faced. Strength and resolve comes along with it and leads us to deeper insights.

Watch your health, watch your temper, face your fears and try not to make unnecessary pressure and demands on yourself or others.

Mercury retrograde Time for Pause. Mercury will be retrograde for most of the month. When Mercury retrograde occurs it simply exposes the areas of life we are neglecting and needs our attention. Yes, it also means that communications can be challenged but that is not the the best of what it is lesson is. Mercury retrograde is giving us space to make corrections and adjustments.

Jupiter in Virgo In between Commitment & Inspiration. As we know Jupiter moved into Virgo late last month and will stay here for one year. Jupiter is a giver most definitely, however Jupiter in Virgo is not always giving us what we desire it will give us what we need and reward what we have authentically worked for. It helps us to build security along with it a good dose of scrutiny. It will make us work harder, testing our teachings and our teachers, politicians and overall what we what we believe and invest in.

On a practical note Jupiter is at odds with Saturn and when Jupiter gets on the other side of Rahu it indicates to an economic slow downs and conservatism. Take care of your planning.

September 28th Mercury Rahu and Moon (Nakshatra of Magha ) Conjunction for 2 and half days

Psychos and Geniuses. This ignites imagination a willingness to experiment and brings forth revolutionary ideas.  It opens other doors if you know what I mean................ We get a peek through the veil.

Let me know what is brings for you.

Summary

When Sun is eclipsed in Leo it gets to the true nature of who we are, the true source of who we are, and what is our real power. It will burn off our false identity and what is not real in order to follow our authentic vision. It’s forcing you to connect with your own power

We are gathering the wisdom and the resources for the next stage of our journey. Wait until October to make big decisions, Saturn is eying the path ahead so wait just wait until next month. Saturn is helping us allot with its dose of conservatism,  patience and discipline:  Yes Saturn can sometimes be a friend.

We are entering a period known as Kala Sarpa Yoga (The Serpent of Time) for the next several months I will talk about this in the next post for October.

Remember without polishing how can one shine ? I wish you the best of luck this month and send you lots of love.
