CANCER NEW MOON IN PUSHYA NAKSHATRA - The Renaissance of You

As the Moon darkens, merging with the Sun, it draws our energy naturally within, preparing to birth a new cycle through the lens and lessons of the nakshatra of Pushya the star of blossoming fortune.

Our new Moon cycle is coloured by the combined potent energy of a retrograde Jupiter and Saturn as well as an amplified Mars. The blend of aspects coming from Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn to Cancer emphasizes a combination of structure, freedom and power as we continue to adjust to the changes from the last three years. The chart read from the new Moon, puts all of the naturally malefic or harsh planets ( Mars, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu) in angular houses forming the ‘engine’ of the chart -the houses of concrete manifestation.

Keep consciously aware that manifestation and luck are generated by our directed endeavours. The nourishing results gained are generated by our wise and well-directed endeavours -the efforts applied with knowledge and action.

The days around the new Moon can feel like an energetic low, both physically and mentally, it’s not forever it is the natural adjustment of the aperture of our awareness (guided by the light) adjusting to where our focus is required next. As we peer at the waterline of our emotional experience, bring your precision of focus and meditative awareness to discover what is hidden beneath the surface and the stimulus/drivers of your patterning. Make a wise shift in your gears on the path to deeper self-knowing, guiding you on the path of life and dharma.

Choose wisely what you cultivate and grow. Develop the courage to have the compassion to approach touchy situations with grace. Karma is our action and generating our fortune ……. be kind to all beings.

I send you love and luck with the New Moon cycle.

The Grace of the Guru Purnima Full Moon in sidereal Sagittarius

The Grace of the Guru Purnima Full Moon in sidereal Sagittarius on July 13th, the first Full Moon after the Summer Solstice. Especially bright from the light of the Sun still in Gemini, the beautiful Moon illuminates the earth. Jupiter, Sun and Moon are all in a Rashi Drishti, a benefic glance uplifting us by giving guidance, connection, sight, wisdom and grace.

Guru Purnima is held sacred in the yogic tradition for thousands of years in honour of the divine Gurus, those who bring light to the earth and its inhabitants. The great sage Ved Vyasa (the transcriber of Vedas and Puranas) is regarded as the Guru of all Gurus and the Guru Purnima in India is dedicated to him. It is also said that this is when the Adiyogi (Lord Shiva) opened up the possibility for human beings to evolve consciously and awaken.

Saturn has now returned to the constellation of Capricorn (July 12th), where he will stay until January 2023. Saturn carries the potential to become your unshakeable stability represented by the areas of life that Capricorn and Saturn rule within your personal chart.

As Jupiter and Saturn continue their retrograde cycles through the fall, they give us an opportunity to dive deep into our philosophies and values and the structures we use to support these – making change, particularly at the macro level as they travel through their home signs of Pisces and Capricorn, respectively.

Use this day for honouring your teachers and expressing your gratitude to those who have illuminated your path and given you the chance to see your light and its connection to all things.

There are four million kinds of lives which a soul can enter. After that, one gets a chance to be human, quite a rare thing in fact. Make full use of it and have the courage to magnify your light and uplift the world.

Happy Guru Purnima! II send you lots of love and luck with the Full Moon Cycle.

Scorpio Eclipse Becoming the Ocean

Scorpio Eclipse Becoming the Ocean

If you don't become the ocean you will be seasick every day- ― Leonard Cohen

Everything you need to know is within this quote when we swim in shallow waters of existence we are vulnerable, exposed to influence that takes us off our own journey. Many great wisdom teachings use the concept of union, to merge with the infinite the connection with our deepest self-expression.

Eclipses are like the resetting of our aperture, the windows that can magnify our human intention- for better or for worse.  This is the last of the Scorpio eclipses that contain the wisdom of fire illuminating what is calling from within. This inner fire of the soul exposes the fork in the road of a decision where we choose where to devote ourselves next.  The Moon's so-called debilitation here takes us to the place where we need to visit and commune with the depths of us. Vishaka brings the sharping of our  senses to what we are willing to defend with our commitment of time and self.

Eclipses amplify the effects of spiritual practices and prayers, which make for a most-ideal time for meditation, the chanting of mantras, and study as Vishaka as gives clarity and one-pointed focus.

Enjoy your swim in the divine nature of you and of universal consciousness. I send you lots of love and luck during the eclipse cycle.

Mastery Over the Moment New Moon in Aquarius Shatabishak

Joining the Sun and Jupiter in Aquarius the New Moon in Shatabishak connects to the power of compression and pressure to create concrete form. The atmosphere is dominated by the weight of seven planets in the two Saturn ruled signs: Aquarius and Capricorn, begging the question what are you made of?

Aquarius hosts the Moon, Sun and Jupiter and Capricorn host Saturn, Mercury, Venus and Mars, filling with conflict. As it sits twelfth from the Moon it indicates the consumption of thoughts and emotions that weigh on our hearts and minds, like a leaky faucet needed attention.

With Saturn’s energy impregnating the heavens with tension, conflict and confinement, it is the birthing room of insights and tough decisions to be made. Mars and Venus are tightly connected throughout March, not a time where themes of cooperation are high or working out relationship issues is really up for consideration.

March is a month to dig in with all of your determination, inspiration to do whatever it takes to overcome outdated patterns, emotions and the persuasive negative thoughts, rising instead for what is important to you and mustering the courage to live in a world of the unknowns.

We have an uncompromising month finishing important lessons before the next set of important shifts occur mid-April with Jupiter moving into Pisces and Rahu and Ketu into the axis of Aries and Libra. Don't walk into it with last year's keys they won't fit the new locks.

Keep your focus on a higher vision for you and humanity, pray for peace and offer support however you can to those affected in the Russian/Ukraine conflict. Saturn favours service and devotion, and Saturn never forgets.

The night of the great Maha Shivaratri begins on Feb 28th throughout the night. Om Namah Shivaya to you I bow- the Lord who swallows poison, disease and war and holds it in his throat.

The One who reduces all negative karma into ashes. Om Namah Shivaya grant us peace and passage

Happy New Moon

The Roots that Nurture Us Full Moon in Leo Magha Nakshatra

Reflecting the light of the Sun, the Moon arrives at its fullness in the early degrees of Leo in the first portion of Magha nakshatra, the roots that anchor and nurture us. Opposite to the Moon is the yearly meeting of the Sun and Jupiter and fifth from the full Moon is the meeting of Mars and Venus. Sovereignty, cooperation, contracts, relationships are highlighted.

With the Sun and Jupiter energies focused in Aquarius the sign of the people, humanity, the bright Moon in the first portion of Magha is a difficult spot, where we can experience resistance to listening and take on emotional distancing to insulate us, where the wall of our personal truth cuts us off from the universal truth.

This is the only time that the Sun will be with Jupiter this year -In our personal chart, their connected expression can give hope even a false upliftment/ boost in perception. While at the level collective more complex energies at work running in the background.

As our attention (Moon) in this cycle is diverted to the (individual) self. Mars and Venus play for dominance through March 11th in subjects of boundaries also giving us the tendency to be more self-involved rather than paying attention to what's occurring around us. The seat of authority lies in the heart and not the mind. Listen to the rumble under the surface carefully, and take note of it. April is going to be a big month we are approaching a threshhold.

The axis of Leo and Aquarius teaches us to show up and serve this becomes our personal power, to serve is leadership, to face the challenge with determination and courage feeds our self-respect and that when we are accountable and take guidance we are wise.

Keep your light bright in a world filled with challenges and opportunity. You are the connection between heaven and earth in full manifesting form. The greatest breakthroughs are won at the base of the mountain with our very first step.

Hold the divine in your heart, and on your tongue.  I wish you love and luck in the Full Moon cycle

Ketu Solar eclipse in Scorpio in Jyeshtha Nakshatra  Shakti Has Arrived

The Sun and Moon at nearly 18° degrees joined with Mercury in Jyeshta and Ketu churns in Anuradha. From the eclipse Venus is in the 2nd what we hold as important comforts, Saturn the 3rd how we collaborate and Jupiter in 4th our home, where we find nourishment, Mars the depositor of the eclipse is in transition moving from the 12th and Rahu is 7th relational contracts.

Both of our financial planets (Moon and Mercury) and Sun and Moon governing planets indicate big changes with finance and how we are operating within the next month will come into effect.

Scorpio is the sign of Shakti deep feminine force, a tantric space where the power lies in our endurance and face the challenge of what lies deep within and drink our poison to alchemize it into our remedy.  Becoming our strength and healing and our mastery in the depth of love.

The difference here lies in our optics, for if we are willing to let go, this eclipse represents emancipation or liberation and say thank you for this pain I accept it as my liberator and I ask Sarasvatī to give me wisdom and sweetness in my heart and tongue to pierce them with elevation and those I encounter.

If we are not willing to let go, we experience a sense of loss. This is where the pain truly lies, as the mind wheels our experience. From reading the chart and looking ahead, what I see is that it is critical that we hold the frequency of love deeply in our hearts so that this becomes our embodied vibration.

Practically finance, and what we plan gets put on ice, it’s difficult to get information, and people will withhold information. Once Mars crosses the eclipse point at the end of December more will be visible.

Those who are Scorpio, Gemini, and Virgo ascendant, Sun or Moon Leo rising, or are running a Sun/Ketu or Ketu /Sun period or Sun/Rahu or Rahu/Sun period and if you have key planets like the Sun, Moon, or the Ascendant at 18-20 degrees of Scorpio, then you have to be particularly cautious not do things that you know are bad for you.

I send you love and luck during the eclipse cycle

Diwali New Moon in Swati nakshatra

The new Moon cycle lessons are the reliance of self and the strength found in it. Reading the chart from the Moon, the Moon's depositor Venus is 3rd from the Moon, indicating a lot of motivational energy, courage and collaboration will bring gains.

Jupiter and Saturn both 4th from the Moon indicating nourishment in following our individual desires, giving us comfort and satisfaction. Jupiter and Saturn are weighty planets indicating concrete events, and in this chart they add the factor of solid motion by following our hearts desire.

The new Moon chart also indicates a greater level of refinement in our ability to communicate and to structure and express ideas, as the Sun, Moon, and Mars align in Swati Nakshatra, a lunar mansion with a connection with Saraswati, goddess of speech, art and creative expression.

This New Moon marks the celebration of the festival of Diwali, the victory over darkness within and the radiant awareness of one’s own inner light. Today’s celebration invokes and attracts Lakshmi’s bountiful presence, prosperity, generosity and beauty through devotion and the connection to greater wisdom.

On this day the lighting of lamps opens to threshold of new beginnings, offering sweets brings bounty. Visiting and connecting friends and family adds to our wealth.

Clean your space, pay attention especially to your front door (this is your ascendant in Vastu) decorate it to allow Lakshmi to enter your home effortlessly.

Let us all remember on this day to pray for others, for the world that we all prosper, we all find the light and our inner and outer resources.  Making a grand inward leap into greater wisdom and the creative flow.

I wish you love and luck during the New Moon cycle

Virgo New Moon in Hasta Nakshatra Drawing The Attention of the Mind

IMG_6184.PNG

As the Moon merges into the light of the Sun it joins a combust Mars and a retrograde Mercury all present in Hasta nakshatra. Venus in Scorpio is calling for diplomacy and the Moon is involved in an impassioned communication with Mars and the Sun.

Hasta हस्त nakshatra is the middle of the path of the Moon in the sky. Ruled by the deity Savitur, the God of the rising Sun, the quantum consciousness, our soul, the source of our ability to perceive. The light that is never diminished; remaining steadfast and strong.

तत् — TAT — That, God; Transcendental Paramatma

सवितुर — SAVITUR — the Sun, the Creator, Preserver

वरेण्यं — VARENYAM — more adorable, lovely

भर्गो — BHARGO — shine, effulgence

देवस्य — DEVASYA — resplendent, supreme Lord

धीमहि — DEEMAHI — we meditate on

धियो यो — DHI YO — intelligence, understanding, Intellect

नः — NAH — Nah: our

प्रचोदयात् — PRACHODAYAT — enlighten, guide, inspire

The Moon in its cycle is calling for our skill assessment before the great pivoting moment where our key planets Saturn and Jupiter after a long retrograde are turning direct followed by Mercury, all within the next fourteen days another midway point where all their power and conscious energies shift.

The new Moon is time to slow down to see all of the possibilities, sensing at the moment where you are and what is true for you, finding where your resources lie. It’s inspiring us to take creative risks and seek out situations that test and expand our abilities, seek inspired learning, and the flow of our creative spirit.

Appreciate the things that bring light, your awareness, your kindness, the people that bring light, that share light, and use this space to connect and spread this light.

I wish you love and luck with the New Moon in Virgo.

Rahu ignites the bridge of Krittika nakshatra on October 5th

4cf9774147c03a7b273746862d526554.jpg

Rahu ignites the bridge of Krittika nakshatra on October 5th spanning from 26.40° Aries to 10.00° Taurus, the space that links fire and earth elements located in the star-field of the Pleiades.

The perpetually retrograding Rahu contains two distinctly different periods as he travels through this nakshatra - the Taurus portion of Krittika Oct 5th- April 12th, 2022,  then continuing backward entering the Aries portion through June 13th.

Rahu is the spirit in materialization, the makeup of our desires. Rahu in its nature rules things that are foreign to us, such as new experiences, new places and new passions. It's our fear and desire in equal measure.

Krittika nakshatra co-ruled by Lord Agni and Kartikeya the Devata of war, the son of Lord Shiva himself. It is also governed by the Sun, the enemy of Rahu. As Rahu begins his journey of ignition we won't experience its ‘’benefits’’ until the spring of 2022 when he is on the Aries side of Krittika. Rahu on the Taurus side of Krittika exposes our vulnerability. It also indicates a forward movement and collaboration between countries to create rules and systems.

The depositor of Rahu, the planet Venus, and the Sun are important keys in the results of Rahu as is transiting Saturn, Jupiter, the last eclipses of 2021, and the Kala Sarpa yoga period from January - April 24th, 2022.

Venus has a difficult transit through March of 2022 as does the Sun. What Rahu will do through April is help clear the pipes of the engine, much like a car that has not been driven for a long time, false starts, puffs of smoke from the tailpipe, and lots of noise.

Mid-April through June 2022  is the start of our ignition phase of Rahu's transit; it's piercing and unsympathetic coming out of the stagnation in the mud. Awakening our more self-centered side, a take control attitude, a push to create and act with independence feeling more empowered and directed.

By then Jupiter will have finally left both Saturn ruled signs completely and have moved into his sign of Pisces empowered and generous, Saturn will have moved into Aquarius the sign of individualization and eclectic innovation.

From April 2022 through June Rahu in Krittika will ignite our invigorated creative energy, fuel for health suggesting the beginning of a healing phase on many levels on the Aries side of this nakshatra.

Each step we make is important,  we are coming through to shine and return to a wildness in our nature freely expressing our truest self and living fully once again. Check Rahu condition in your natal chart and if you are running Rahu Dasha, Sun, Venus Dasha.

I send you lots of love and luck with the transit of Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra.

Rooted in Expansion Full Moon in Pisces in Uttara Bhadrapada

The Lunar consciousness arrives at its fullness at 5º of Pisces in Uttara Bhadrapada nakshatra, reflecting the earthly sign of Virgo and all of its inhabitants - Sun, Mars, and Mercury.

Opening a thunderous concentrated energy cycle that encourages grounding stabilization on the earth plane even though there is a lot of fear and anger right now that is not being fully expressed.

Ahirbudhnya, the ruler of Uttara Bhadrapada teaches to look to the roots in our subconscious in order to free ourselves, accepting our darkness and the darkness of our times. To expand into the transition of the future, with the pouring down of grace.

The path of changes is set to come through the end of the year. With both Saturn and Jupiter retrograde, and Jupiter now back in debility in Capricorn gives the feeling like we don't know what we are pushing against, only certain of the density of its weight. With Mars combust and frustrated by the Sun through December expresses a need to fight to release tension reacting to fear and anger that is beneath the surface.

The days surrounding the full moon are rich with the connection to the otherworlds, the space between. Starting directly with the day after the full Moon, as the waning phase begins commences the Pitru-Paksha  (The Forefather Fortnight) the remembering and connection to our ancestors and lineage.  Then comes the Equinox on the 22nd when we transition in the western hemisphere from light into the darkness.

Uttara Bhadrapada is deeply connected to Lakshmi. To open her gates we have to pass through her eight forms some very fierce while remaining devoted.

Cognition Of Deeper Truths Aquarius Full Moon in Dhanishta Nakshatra

Screenshot 2021-08-19 at 09.18.53.png

The August full Moon arrives at 5.27° in the nakshatra of Dhanishta reflecting the throne of the king and its inhabitants the Sun, Mars, and Mercury highlighting an imbalance of authority and false security creating tension and anxiety of what will come next.

As the Moon joins a bright and retrograde Jupiter our attention is captured - how we as a collective and as individuals seem to be moving both forward and backward at the same time.

Mars the great honorable warrior that governs Dhanishta addresses our consciousness (Moon) questioning our strategy and applied consciousness. Is the direction and rhythm of our daily actions connected to the beat of our heart and the clarity of our higher self? Jupiter's presence accentuates what is real, and what is true.

Stirring the lessons within this cycle of a hunt for solutions - how to take action in unison with society while remaining true to our personal power.  How to create change by engaging our awareness into action, to become accountable as a world in living in community, and inspire others to partake in shaping our collective destiny. Keeping the light bright in a world filled with challenges and uncertainty.

The axis of Aquarius the sign of the people, the collective, and Leo the home of natural authority and our personal power is where these lessons unfold. Check where this is in your charts and see how you can engage your spirit to rise to the challenge. Every warrior, great athlete, and wisdom teaching recognizes fear as part of the experience and keeps moving forward. Leading from the heart.

Shiva teaches us to remain in our center, with our full presence connected to truth, opening the space allowing for things to fall away with open hearts in spite of our egos. When this is not in harmony and we live by the limitation of our individual self then we are easily shaken.

I wish you love and luck during the full Moon cycle, remember the world needs your participation, to live from your heart and not from fear, where your light spreads light.

Solar Eclipse June 10th- The Alchemy of Levity

IMG_3365.PNG

The June 10th celestial alignment of our Solar Eclipse occurs at 25°degrees of Taurus in Mrigashira nakshatra, the constellation of desire and searching.

Eclipses are markers of change, the awakening of a new consciousness where we have to adapt to new circumstances. Rahu is the one who opens the door to our luminaries ushering in our soul body and consciousness through the gate of change.

Venus, the depositor of the eclipse, is in a harmonious exchange with Mercury. Where they share information and wisdom. Mercury laying out the road ahead revealing information and insight Venus establishing values and gains. The two gentle planets exchange with swiftness, new avenues, and opportunities as well as the things hidden from our view.

Venus and Mercury are important planets for gains. Both are on the lookout to establish our connection to gains.  Mrigashira Nakshatra has the power to realize desires but to do so we have to be aligned with our core desire not scattered with inspiration.  Mars debilitated in Cancer governs Mrigashira, a place his fiery quality is absent, implying more efforts are required from us.

Although this eclipse has positive indications, it does not negate the markers of challenge with the economy and agriculture thought the end of the year.

Eclipses in their nature activate the atmosphere with accelerated energy. It is not a time to start new projects or agreements on the material plane, it is a time for breakthroughs that help you to untie your knot that keeps you stuck from achieving. Use the cosmic winds to transform the tamasic energy and finally let go, leveraging the alchemy of levity!

As the atmosphere becomes impregnated with change these are the moments we should pause and listen. These days surrounding the eclipse bring a heightened state of sensitivity, observe your senses and fill your inner space with wisdom. Broaden your horizons without being scattered.

Where is your attention? Where is your action leading you? What is your truest desire?  What would our soul say? Become the doer and not the observed, in a contracted mind. state

Happy solar eclipse, enjoy its ride, connect your heart and mind to new possibilities.

I hope you feel love, expansion, and a warm embrace
