Ideas, thoughts and communication flow begin to take on a fast-paced rhythm. Persistent Mars is keen on opening the path igniting our ambitious nature and getting things moving. Transiting Mercury now in good dignity, deposits Mars and is influenced by Mars's aspect marrying the energies of these Grahas in a unified intent to get to the bottom line and get it in motion. 

The demands and declarations we can make with Mars's initial entry into Gemini are peppered with frustration, not out of anger but an eagerness to be rebirthed to finally see what is on the other side of change. Leo New Moon in Magha - Magnificent Splendor

On August 27th the cycle of the magnificent begins with the honouring of our past and all its inherited wisdom. This is such a delicious time of year we are entering as the fire of the summer begins to cool returning to the sacred spaces and magical places.

Full Moon in Capricorn - The Evolution of Earth

Immersed in Saturn's energy, the Moon reflects the light of the Sun in Cancer who for now is keeping company with Venus.


Thoughts and concerns of security, nourishment and stability come more into focus as August progresses. The Moon conjunct and starved by Saturn is also being squared by Rahu and Ketu, activating our worry. Memories of the past and projections of the future are at odds with our security and comfort, either our outlook of the future may be overly negative or the memory of the past overly optimistic. Saturn and the Moon are wanting more precision in our perception and our reactions.


Our consciousness faces a conflict either by the things we think we need to be comfortable or what we see as necessary in meeting our emotional needs. These comforts and needs are going to be difficult to get met in this cycle.

Eclipses are like the resetting of our aperture, the windows that can magnify our human intention- for better or for worse.  This is the last of the Scorpio eclipses that contain the wisdom of fire illuminating what is calling from within. Both of our financial planets (Moon and Mercury) and Sun and Moon governing planets indicate big changes with finance and how we are operating within the next month will come into effect.

Scorpio is the sign of Shakti deep feminine force, a tantric space where the power lies in our endurance and face the challenge of what lies deep within and drink our poison to alchemize it into our remedy.  Becoming our strength and healing and our mastery in the depth of love.

Rahu ignites the bridge of Krittika nakshatra on October 5th

Rahu ignites the bridge of Krittika nakshatra on October 5th spanning from 26.40° Aries to 10.00° Taurus, the space that links fire and earth elements located in the star-field of the Pleiades.

The perpetually retrograding Rahu contains two distinctly different periods as he travels through this nakshatra - the Taurus portion of Krittika Oct 5th- April 12th, 2022,  then continuing backward entering the Aries portion through June 13th. 

Rahu is the spirit in materialization, the makeup of our desires. Rahu in its nature rules things that are foreign to us, such as new experiences, new places and new passions. It's our fear and desire in equal measure. 

Krittika nakshatra co-ruled by Lord Agni and Kartikeya the Devata of war, the son of Lord Shiva himself. It is also governed by the Sun, the enemy of Rahu. As Rahu begins his journey of ignition we won't experience its ‘’benefits’’ until the spring of 2022 when he is on the Aries side of Krittika. Rahu on the Taurus side of Krittika exposes our vulnerability. It also indicates a forward movement and collaboration between countries to create rules and systems. 

The depositor of Rahu, the planet Venus, and the Sun are important keys in the results of Rahu as is transiting Saturn, Jupiter, the last eclipses of 2021, and the Kala Sarpa yoga period from January - April 24th, 2022.

Venus has a difficult transit through March of 2022 as does the Sun. What Rahu will do through April is help clear the pipes of the engine, much like a car that has not been driven for a long time, false starts, puffs of smoke from the tailpipe, and lots of noise.

Mid-April through June 2022  is the start of our ignition phase of Rahu's transit; it's piercing and unsympathetic coming out of the stagnation in the mud. Awakening our more self-centered side, a take control attitude, a push to create and act with independence feeling more empowered and directed.

By then Jupiter will have finally left both Saturn ruled signs completely and have moved into his sign of Pisces empowered and generous, Saturn will have moved into Aquarius the sign of individualization and eclectic innovation. 

From April 2022 through June Rahu in Krittika will ignite our invigorated creative energy, fuel for health suggesting the beginning of a healing phase on many levels on the Aries side of this nakshatra.
