Capricorn Full Moon August 8/ 9th: The Power of Connection

Reaching its fullness at 22° of Capricorn, the bright Moon of Śravaṇa, a star field ruled by Vishnu, a place deeply connected with Saraswati, conveying a message of contemplation to activate connection and wisdom. Activating a cycle of how we relate and listen to the river that lies within us.

The connection and transport of its current, and our ability to tune into it. To activate our conscious awareness. To become a witness to the miracle of our birth and the gifts we are granted, the connections available to us when we allow it to flow like a song.

To open ourselves to our divine nature rather than our reactive nature. To slow down and tune into the ear of the universe.

With Mercury preparing to station, suggests a time when we are more potent, we quiet ourselves, not suppress feelings, but become responsible for them, and by doing so, we create more openness to what is. Observing what is awakening and what needs to be let go, giving this energy space to take hold.

With the Full Moon alone and unafflicted, it suggests a good time to lean into yourself and not rely on others, to embrace your independence.

Just a few days after the Full Moon, we have quite a mix of power struggles in the sky: Venus & Jupiter in a Graha Yudha, Mars and Saturn exact, Mercury stationing, and the Moon conjunct Rahu. Expect some surprises.

This is our last Full Moon before eclipse season.

Śravaṇa Purnima is a day of divine light, devotion, and deep spiritual renewal dedicated to Lord Shiva, it also marks the celebration of Gayatri Jayanti.

Book a 1:1 reading — With Venus and Jupiter in conjunction, Mars’s restructuring, Saturn offering profound changes, and eclipse season approaching, this is an important time to get clear.

May you be blessed by your river of light, and may all beings prosper.
