Cancer New Moon in Punarvasu July 17th

Early in the Sign of Cancer the New Moon of July the transition of the hopeful light of Purnavasu into the depths of Cancer brings an energy tension a push-pull, the unsureness of our ground. A need to return to our central point where our values lie, what’s important, and who’s important. To be flexible and adaptable with a readiness to change and need to recover and regenerate in the presence of potential chaos.

Both the Sun and the Moon in the very early degrees of Cancer challenge our great luminaries’ ability to fulfil their natural expression. This can mean that the ‘’arrows’ of desire may not hinder a full concrete materialization just yet. The plans we make may need to shift.

Second from the new Moon chart, Mars and Venus are in Leo. The gift and gains in this cycle. Venus is beginning to station preparing to retrograde on the 22nd, its cycle of part rebirth. What we need to let go to be ‘‘refreshed’’. Venus will bring our attention to our finances and exchange, money, what we value not just the material. It includes relationships. Reevaluating what is important to us, and what we are willing to fight for.

Shukracharya (Venus) is more than love, it is the Graha that defends what is good for us and looks out for our interests. It is not a soft planet. As it begins to retrograde in this cycle it asks us to revisit our foundation and what we rely on. The gift of Mars with Venus gives to the Moon cycle is passion and vigour in communications. Sweet and sour, up and down. Just watch out for impulsiveness. Together they shake us to see clearly what we hold dear and what actually sticks with us. This clarity will bring gifts in the Fall.

Saturn the planet of limit and measurement is eighth from the new Moon chart. The eighth house is the place of peering into the well of the unconscious, the mysteries of life. Saturn itself rules our prana and longevity. Indicating that its placement can support long-term changes.

Saturn is also in a near exact planetary aspect with Mars in Leo. Both Saturn and Mars are opposite in nature as are Leo and Aquarius this also indicates a push pull or start, or stop.

Get ready for some up-down, side-to-side filled lessons of how to come back to your unity within, clear and undivided.

I send you love and luck with the New Moon cycle
