Our Perception and Desires Through the Medium of Light

The Moon has 27 signs of its own. The symbols on the inner ring are the Sun's signs., The coloured outer ring are the 27 signs of the Moon, known as the Nakshatras. It is the same space only looking from two different distinctive perspectives, one being the Sun and the other the Moon.

The Sun and the Moon are a team that work together, they are inseparable, how we feel, perceive, think and desire ( all the Moon) are intimately connected with how we act (the Sun). The solar houses are the container of life and the lunar houses are the consciousness born.

The Solar houses are created by our perceived (from the Earth) yearly orbit of the Sun intersected with the Moon’s monthly orbit; this creates the 12 divisions of space known as the twelve houses.

The Lunar mansions or Nakshatras are based on the Moon's orbit. The division is created by taking the Moon's monthly orbit and intersecting it with the Sun's shorter orbit of Sunrise and Sunset, creating 27 divisions of the lunar houses. In the Vedic system the Moon is very important, in fact in most eastern systems the Moon is revered, the west is more Solar centric of Me,Me and I, I.

Sun Signs are based on the ruler (planet), element and mode, Nakshatra are based on their ruler which is a deity or God. The deities ruling these lunar signs reveal the subtle and very tangible characteristics of each of us.

Simply put Nakshatras are the activation of consciousness of the planet, in the birth chart and in transit. The Nakshatras as lenses, through which we perceive and experience our realities. The twelve signs are our unconscious bodies. The nakshatras are the conscious lenses that bring the light and animation.

Your ascendant and all the planets located within a nakshatra at the time of your birth indicates which aspect of your consciousness has been gripped where the nakshatras unique stream of consciousness that flows through you. The character and driving forces behind a person and their actions, their identity being expressed is seen through the nakshatras

The Moons version of space is intimate and juicy, a rich tapestry to explore your pulse and rhythm. There intimacy of knowledge comes from studying the Taittirīya Brāhmaṇa, and the Nashatra Sutras, most just repeat poor information that lacks the depth and soul of these spaces that are alive within us.

My goal is to take you through this journey to discover your conscious activators where we can meditate on them and contemplate their wonders harmoniously. To see that the cosmos are an important part of nature interplaying with the Earth, the divine light that pours out from the energy outlets of the stars as they sing and play in harmony with the song of the Universe through the medium of light.

To study and learn more about the Nakshatras you can enroll in my classes here (intest link). I will slowly open the doors to each nakshatra to take you through an introductory journey of the consciousness of the qualities of each Nakshatra.
