Untangling the Patters in the Astral Realms Full Moon in Pisces

At 11° of Pisces, the Full Moon opens the gates to the ancestral river with the commencement of the Pitru Paksha the ancestral fortnight. A two-week celebration of gratitude and recognition to those who have shaped our own destiny in both obvious and unknown ways.

A traditional way of expressing our appreciation and cultivating contentment within our lineage is through prayers and tarpana, the offering of their favourite food and drink daily which is then either fed to an animal or released into the ocean or river.

Big changes come with October with the Solar and Lunar eclipse and Rahu and Ketu the nodes of the Moon preparing to change signs. The recognition of our guides is both beneficial and supportive to bless the path laid out before us as we close a chapter and begin a new one. This cycle of the full Moon signals a time to put the Venus lessons of the summer on the Altar recalibrating our hearts, priorities, and relational patterns. Venus is a powerful guide to connect with and make a bond of change, and to break the bonds of chains. Old themes, dynamics, relational patterns, and doubts may show up for the sake of recalibration. We are in the process of a deeper intimacy with who we are which allows us to be seen for who we really are.

The more we embrace inner work this cycle and the more honest we can become with ourselves the more strength we gain in October. This is a very special time with the boundaries between the human and spirit worlds become especially fluid, and when prayers, and mantra japa as offerings can be readily received.

Pitru Paksha will end on October 13th in North America, and on October 14th in India and Europe.

I send you love and luck in the Full Moon cycle
