The cycle of the Vishaka New Moon is one of singularity charging into darkness carving a path of light. Vishaka Nakshatra is the birth star of lord Surya (Sun). The fruit (karma-phalam) served to us through this star is a display of dissatisfaction of being bound by the limitations and the need to break through. The decay of old thought, feeling and what causes our disease. Finding the strength in our self-illumination.
Just as Surya charges through space, not following anyone but its own dharma, everything falls into place as it should be. The light of wisdom, the Agni (fire) of the Atman (soul) that witnesses all.
Rishi Parashara states that ‘‘Uccha- Nica same thing.’’ Debilitated is not a Sanskrit word.
